Can you explain more about your approach to product catalogs and how it is different to the approach of your competitors?

Our central product manager is designed to be an integral part of our BSS architecture. It is pre-integrated with all sales channels applications like CRM, self care, corporate self care. And also with our convergent billing. However it exposes open interfaces for 3rd party systems. So the biggest advantage of our central product manager is when it comes with some other our products. In such case costs of integrations are lower. In standalone product catalogs, generic, costs of integration with CRM or billing are really high.

Dear Kristofe, are you currently working with any MN operators in the Middle East on any BSS transformation project?

We have some activities in Middle East but not exactly connected with BSS transformation. Our biggest BSS transformation project is in Western Europe.

    Hi,
Why do you think that M2M requires separated systems? Why can it not be handled on existing retail systems?

In some cases it can be handled by existing BSS domain which is used for retail. But it can work if operator is focused only on selling SIM cards, without dedicated support for M2M customers. In long term it is not enough because for M2M customers you may need a little bit different order management processes, mass SIM card management, APIs exposed to partners, M2M self service portal etc. It is also connected with separated, dedicated departments for M2M sales and operations.
